There is so much to do here. You’ll have to decide whether your day will be about culture or sports, relaxing or respiring. We are 8km from the World Heritage Site of Sintra. If your day will be about sports, take the family for a mini-golf tournament on the other site of our Aldeia da Praia Glamping or rent some bikes to explore the nearby beaches like Magoito or Azenhas do Mar.

How do I get to Oasis Backpackers Hostel Sintra Surf…?
Just 8km out of Sintra, you will find our Hostel & Glamping in between the beaches of Praia Grande and Praia das Maçãs.
When coming from Sintra, take a right in Colares, heading towards Praia das Maçãs for 2km. Go straight on the round-about (first exit) and after 200m you find our Hostel & Glamping Aldeia da Praia to your right.
from the Lisbon Airport
From the Lisbon airport take the metro 3 stops to Oriente train station and from there catch the train to Sintra Portela. From there take the 441 bus as indicated above.
from the Sintra Portela bus station
If you take the bus from Sintra Portela station, catch the 441 (to Praia das Maçãs) and get off at the roundabout where Telepizza is. The stop is called Ponte Rodizio. We are just in front of there. See already see the tall water tower painted all in white. Alternatively you can take the 439 (direction Praia Grande) and walk 5min down the hill.

Or take the antique tram (the eléctrico) that rides you right into the center of Sintra in a wonderfully slow 45 min ride in the red, antique cable car (only during summer time)
